The work week in KL

Sunday I ventured back out to use the 2nd half of my hop-on/hop-off ticket. My goal for the day was two museums, a fish spa, a curry and a massage. Mission accomplished across the board! There is sort of a photo essay on Facebook, so I’ll leave this.

Monday I worked in the morning, then took a cab to the conference hotel. Settled in – thankfully they let me check-in early! Beautiful room even more gorgeous bathtub. I bathed myself and washed my clothes! All I really did all day is work and “housekeeping” stuff. I went downstairs to have dinner at the hotel buffet – it was expensive and lousy but I did run in to Joan and Mike there and had dinner with them.

Tuesday the conference began – keynotes, then I had my session as a technical session, then I gave my bigger presentation as part of the business leaders segment. I think two companies areinterested.

Wednesday and Thursday I played hooky in the morning and hung around the conference in the afternoon. I didn’t attend any sessions, just sort of “manned my table”. Wednesday night a group of seven of us went to a very nice restaurant for a curry.

Thursday we wrapped up, everyone was tired – people split off in various directions, many to their flights home. I went to the room to catch up on this blog and some work and just to relax.
