2016 November - ROAD TRIP - Toward Sunrise (then back with more wheels)

There will be few side adventures on this trip ... I have an agenda. And traveling alone with the dogs limits how far I'll get each day. But I'll try to post every day so if you want to know where the heck I am, you can find me. :)

The picture for this blog is my new beautiful backyard to remind me of (new) home.

This is long trip and it is amazing what I think I need. I traveled around the entire world in 41 days with a single suitcase. For this five weeks across the country I can't decide how many of those mac-and-cheese boxes I should take and whether 4 computers will do or if I should just take the desktop, too. And the wardrobe? Well, I have a whole closet I can fill! And three cupboards. And a bathroom cabinet.

Loaded up to the best of my thinking ability (no desktop, but taking the Drobo), I'll run around to do a few last things here at the house, hitch up and go this morning. Goal: Gallup, NM where there is a lovely campground and I've already spoken to them, they have space for me.

Know what I did not ask? Whether they had pull-thru sites. If I need to back into a site I'm just going to do it.
