Day 1, Budapest

Arrived in Budapest I met the group, and after checking in to the hotel we met in the lobby and went for a walk to the Parliament House.

Left to right-Andrea the tour guide with his back to us telling us stuff. Then me and Liz with Allessando, his assistant. Then Just me and Liz.

There are many of these little protest piles near a Jewish monument. I'm not sure exactly what it's about, but something that the monument has wrong.

And our group mulling around taking over the city.

Our first of many meals together at a traditional Hungarian restaurant. They are busily making the streusel. Liz is very happy about this.

Along the way we visited this water park.

Then finally settled into the small lobby for some drinking and relaxing. We would end up spending late each evening in this same mode.
