Boating with Brad

Arriving in Brad's beautiful, hilly lake community, we tried the theory that we could just park the trailer on his lawn.  Not level, slippery grass, general discomfort and out-of-plac-i-ness.

So I snagged the last pull-thru site at a campground that Google said was 12 minutes away, but was possibly the most harrowing 30 minute drive of my life to a *totally worth it* campground on Panther Lake.

I hung out and worked and went on many long walks with the puppers, while the kids hit the Big Apple. It was a lovely time and I got all caught up with stuff including washing the sandy-dog-paws from my bed.

Then on Thursday, off to Brad's other lake house, where the dock is, to spend the day galivanting about on the lake in his pontoon. Who knew that a pontoon was such a fabulous thing?!

Here is where we stopped for the best soft-serve ice cream cone I've ever had.

Brad has a fabulous life.
