Day 8 - Camino Zero

My body was struggling at the end of the long walk to Pontevedra. Then we had the *really nice* Parrador hotel, so I indulged. Slept in, got homework and some work done. Had a bath. I might have taken the whole day off, but I felt great and caught up by 10:30a, so I checked on where the gang was and grabbed a taxi to meet them where they had stopped for second breakfast.

Ended up knocking five miles off the day—still logged nine. A good choice.

First three shots are the second breakfast place where I met up with the gang.

Then pics of the walk. At some point the obsession with the Padron peppers and practice of taking our shoes off to soak our feet kicked in. Pictures included below.

We got to this place early enough to lounge around at the spa/hot springs/pool all afternoon, then went out to dinner, the last picture above.
