Day 1 - Toledo

Breakfast at my one-night hotel

I think most of us are in either Spain or Portugal now.

After my coffee and breakfast, I walked over to Deb’s Marriott and met her in the lobby. Gave her a few minutes to get organized—I got in the night before and had a full night's sleep, she was fresh off the plane.

Deb had stayed there before and knew it was right at the subway station, so we hopped that to the train station and took the next train to historic Toledo where we took the sightseeing bus, had a lovely meal in the square and walked back to the train station.
