The gauntlet

The featured image for this blog post is the airport in Seoul.

Left my house at about 8:15a on Friday and I’ve just finally sat down in my hotel room at 9:30a Saturday, Las Vegas time. 11:30p Saturday night here. Nothing went wrong just a long day of waiting, either standing or sitting. The gauntlet that makes up travel to the other side of the planet.

Korean Air has a K-pop band doing their safety video.

Haven’t seen much of Vietnam yet, since it is late and I’m very tired. The hotel picked me up and gave me a bottle of water and showed me to my room. The shower worked well. What more could I possibly want?

Tomorrow I’ll sleep in, get breakfast here then check out at noon and go back to the airport to meet Jan and we will get a ride into town to our hotel for the next couple of nights together. Goodnight!

My hotel. The attraction? Very near the airport. Pic is from their website, I haven’t seen it in daylight yet.

The view out my hotel window. I’ve always wanted to say this: “Good morning, Vietnam!”
