Arizona Smith and the temple of … ice cream?

Another Harvest Host site, this time in Tucson. Had to drive 4 hours, not my ideal 3, but as long as it’s less than 5 I can stand it. Pulled into the parking lot area marked out for Harvest Host guests, checked in at the diner and then did my own thing, including walking the dogs all around the urban area. Then I went in and had a veggie burgers and one of their astounding ice cream treats. I could only eat a fraction of it and even then I felt sick. Then I went back, took the dogs on another walk and relaxed for awhile before show time.

The show at their sister site, The Gaslight Theatre

They did a really funny parody-melodrama-skit version of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom but called it Arizona Smith and the Relic of Doom. It was a complete hoot, well worth the $30 price of admission. It’s dinner theatre style, but I ate at the diner earlier so didn’t order anything.
