Wales - June 2012
Lost my bag on the way TO Manchester, had to run around buying all the components of at least one work outfit. Urght. Then on the way home my flight was painfully delayed from Atlanta – all this extreme heat is grounding airplanes left and right. Finally got home at 2a. Tony got off work at 11p, got to FLL by about 11:30p and then took a nap in the car until I landed at about 1a. (Thanks, “Tone”.)
After the conference in the UK, Pam and Rob picked me up and chauffeured me around Wales. I’m going to put just a couple of pics on FB. Pam and Rob have more and better ones, I think – particularly the one at the top of Snowdon. I found that climb extremely difficult and want everyone to see the dang picture. Anyway, we stayed in some lovely guest houses/bed and breakfasts, saw some amazing scenery, visited several castles and a prehistoric copper mine. Ate lots of curry, traditional Welsh breakfasts and I had my requisite order of fish-and-chips, minus the chips. Also drank an eclectic collection of local beers.
