Late nights, long drives, and Longmire - oh and Sturgis!
Not going to lie, I don't often, these days, dance for three hours and get home after midnight. Getting home late was just because of after-socializing, really. So I was sleepy when I woke up, but I was excited to go out for breakfast with this adorable guy. Known him since he was 3. Very proud of him as he prepares to enter medical school on Monday.
Then I got everything ready and out by about 11:30a. I had changed campgrounds because the I-80 is closed at night ... so I got a bit later start than I might have and I had the extra hour diverging from y plan. So it was a long hard drive with only the shortest of fuel up and walk the dogs breaks. But the scenery out the window was beautiful and the air is clean and cool.Lots of bikes headed for Sturgis. Not as many as there will be. The year I rode a rented Harley from Denver it was like a parade. It hasn't reached that level yet.
This is our campground in Cheyenne, WY. The big wide-open spaces here, and the abundance of amazingly old pick-up trucks has me looking for Longmire.
