BEGIN: Summer road trip 2021. Loading up.

Off for the summer again!

As usual starting with a Florida run,

Trip prep this year has been a bit of a big deal. New, smaller camper. New things, new ways to carry things. Plus a bunch of stuff I'm taking to Rhiannon.

Totally Beverly Hillbilly but whateves.

I am taking a mostly southerly route to Florida, which I would normally only do when it is winter, but I've found some fun ways to avoid I-10 for this trip.    Even my inside space is a hot mess until I get to Florida. Baby stuff. (omg, yay!)

Three nights near Sedona --so after one day of travel I have significant time to settle into my living space and plus I've never been to Sedona (what?)

After Sedona, small roads through Texas and Louisiana, spending mostly my sweet spot of two-nights at a time. A couple of Harvest Hosts, which are by definition one-nighters (more on Harvest Hosts, later) and one day of truly hard driving.

I have a place on the gulf beach in Biloxi, Mississippi booked for three nights and a friend is planning to join me there.  Then I have two nights in one of my favorite, peaceful campgrounds in North Florida where I have stayed a few times now. This is near some other friends of mine, whom I cannot wait to see.
