July Rivers, donkeys & raintrees

Local hiking (that I took pictures of) included Telegraph Canyon (first three,) Upper Bristlecone & Raintree hikes (lots of pictures of raintrees,) then last one picture from a Deer Creek hike talking to Deb B.

Peter called out of the blue and said “Let’s go kayaking and camping in Havasu.” I said “In July? Are you out of your mind?” He said, “No, that’s why I invited you and your air conditioned camper.” We ended up having a blast — avoided the heat by going out for frozen margaritas in the afternoon. We wound it up by stopping in Oatman on the way home. (Two pics of donkeys at the end.)
