August Water hiking, camping, theatre & more

I went on a few hikes locally, went up to Kanarra Falls twice, camped and hiked at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and camped and hiked at Zion. Also, back to the theatre (after such a long pandemic hiatus) to see Hades Town.

Jeff posted his first hike in a while and all the cool kids showed up for Fletcher Canyon to the slots.

Then camping in Zion. Here’s the campground. And a picture of my goat cheese chile relleno.

First day hiking, The Emerald Pools with Sheree, CB and Deb.

Second day hiking, The Narrows with Sarah and Deb. That last picture is my wet handprint on the boulder at the turn around point (you can go for 16 miles, but you have to get a wilderness permit—so we only went 2 up the river for a total of 6 round trip counting the one mile trail to the river.
