Parked my Chevy near the levy

Tucked in my corner of the parking lot meant I could run my generator , walk the dogs and generally putter around at will. I knew I wanted to walk up the ramp to the levy and have a peek at the river. I also got to see some working machinery. All I can say for sure is that it had to do with transporting product, by truck and by barge. Probably sugar cane. I took some video but unfortunately I don’t seem to be able to post video on here.

Stella (the Ibex) parked in her corner of the Houmas House lot, pictured from the levy across the River Road.

Walking along the levy, watching the barge slowly pass.
