Beer, board games and bon ami
Another HH, outside Houston. Yes, another brewery and tap house. This one could not be more different in tone. Tons of board games and tables built to play them on, with cupholders so you don’t spill your beer on the game.
The menu is unimaginative, but the beer is good. Well, I only tried one—but I had two! The Katy Cream Ale. I . liked it. I stayed in there for a long while after I finished my grilled cheese sandwich because I enjoyed watching people play their games. So, of course I had to have another beer.
I got away with running my generator for awhile when I arrived and this morning to make coffee and charge the laptop again. There is another HH — a giant class A - but they are parked on the other side of the building, so I hope they didn’t hear anything. They were just arriving when I left the bar at about 7:30p. I’m an early bird, it’s true. But I reckon they were inside while I was running my generator.
Headed now to the luxury of family and a bona fide campground. It would not be laundry day again yet, except Ninja knocked my orange soda over on the bed. Yes, I got mad. But it’s been a few days and I never mind having a freshly washed bed. It’s the remaking of the bed that I dread. Camper-bed Yoga.
Pictures of inside the place and outside where I am parked.
